Voting Reform
At the core of our republic is our election system. The fact that anyone can potentially lead the government is what makes America a free society. Fair elections are so important to America that I see election fraud as a form of treason and I believe it should be treated as such.
Unfortunately, it is under a full scale assault from those who advocate the use of voting machines. These machines have been shown to be easily hackable. More of a threat than hacking though, is that there are no paper trails when electronic voting is used. After a vote is cast, there is no possible way to do a manual recount. This leaves the door wide open for election fraud and the compromising of one of our most precious rights.
I would make the use voting machines illegal in all elections. This would help with transparency in the voting process and allow any vote tally dispute to be resolved with a manual recount.
