Taxes
My goal in office is to eliminate capital gains, personal income, and inheritance taxes. With proper spending cuts, and a return to sound currency, the government could survive on the corporate income tax, excise taxes, and tariffs.
Reducing government spending is essential to getting rid of the IRS. The Grace Commission stated that an average of 33 cents of every tax dollar collected goes to government waste.
Since taxes and spending are directly related, please see my section on fiscal policy for more information on how I would reduce federal expenditures.
